Wishes for happiness or sadness.

Wishes for happiness,
Makes life a bore
Wishes for sadness,
Makes the heart sore

One would choose
The rarest one found
The consequences unknown
Bored to be on that cloud

Yet one cursed
With sadness
May make their
Sanity diminish

Kisses at night
Whispers in the dark
Yet no one but me
Can feel the ache in my heart

Kisses no more
Whispers gone
Too low to hear
Silent for too long

So cover the eyes
Show a smile for the part
As neither emotion
Can one depart...
